(Abies siberica)

Is slightly more pungent and strong than the balsamea variety, but still resinous and woodsy. This amazing aroma, combined with the intense antiseptic and antibacterial properties of this oil, make it a pleasant alternative to tea tree oil in many instances. Can be used almost interchangeably with Fir Balsamea.

Therapeutic properties: antiseptic, antibacterial, deodorant, anti-tussive, expectorant, astringent, laxative, antispasmodic, analgesic, diuretic, immune stimulant, nervine

Application: well diluted and applied to areas of concern; diffused

Aromatic: Pleasing to both men and women, but certainly lacks any hint of flowers that some men object to when using essential oils; is reminiscent of the smells of evergreen forests

Resonance: central nervous system, chakras

Contra-indications: possible skin irritant
