Plant Based Milks

These milks will stay good in your fridge for around 5 days.  You can make any of them chocolate milks by adding 2-4 TBS cacao powder.  Everyone loves different sweetness, so sometimes you have to adjust & add more or less sweetness, or none if you are making a recipe that would be better without sweetness. 

Hemp Seed Milk

4 cups purified water

1/2 cup hemp seeds

pinch of celtic salt

optional 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

optional for sweetness...3 barhi dates, 1 TBS pure maple syrup, or 1 TBS Lucuma 

optional...1 tsp pure vanilla

Blend for 1-1 1/2 minutes & store in a quart jar in your fridge.  Shake when ready to use. 

Walnut Milk

4 cups purified water

1 cup walnuts (soaked for at least an hour or overnight)

You can blend at this point if you want to strain your milk with a nut milk bag, I personally don't strain walnut milk & add all ingredients & blend for 1-1 1/2 minutes

pinch of celtic salt

optional 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

optional for sweetness...3 barhi dates, 1 TBS pure maple syrup, or 1 TBS Lucuma

Store in a quart jar in your fridge.  Shake when ready to use.

I add this milk to my protein coffee in the morning, & it is amazing.

Almond Milk

1 cup almonds (soak for at least an hour or overnight)

4 cups purified water

Blend at this point for 1-1 1/2 minutes & strain your milk with a nut milk bag.  Add your other ingredients to your strained milk & blend again.

optional 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

optional 3 barhi dates, 1 TBS pure maple syrup, or 1 TBS Lucuma

Store in a quart jar in your fridge.  Shake when ready to use.

Pumpkin Seed Milk

4 cups purified water

1 cup raw pumpkin seeds (soak for at least 10 minutes, or up to an hour)

pinch of celtic salt

optional 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

optional 3 barhi dates, 1 TBS date sugar, 1 TBS pure maple syrup, or 1 TBS Lucuma

optional 1/2-1 tsp pure vanilla

Blend for 1-1 1/2 minutes & store in a quart jar in your fridge.  Shake when ready to use.

Pumpkin Hemp Seed Milk

4 cups purified water

1/4 cup hemps seeds

1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds (soaked at least 10 minutes & up to an hour)

pinch of celtic salt

optional 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

optional... 1/2-1 tsp vanilla

optional 3 barhi dates, 1 TBS pure maple syrup, or 1 TBS Lucuma

Blend for 1- 1 1/2 minutes & store in your fridge.  Shake when ready to use.
